The process of claiming compensation begins with the property owner instructing FENTON PROPERTY CONSULTANTS to act as their agent. Once we are instructed we handle everything on your behalf.
FENTON PROPERTY CONSULTANTS then undertakes a valuation and assesses the potential compensation claim; which is submitted to the electricity company to initiate negotiations.
When the claim is agreed, and the client is happy to conclude matters, solicitors are instructed to complete the formal documentation. All reasonable legal expenses are paid by the electricity company.
On completion of the documentation the electricity company pays the compensation money to you the property owner.
Please note that settling a claim by negotiation takes many months and sometime years depending on the electricity company concerned.
